Meet the Team

Newport Group's Qualified Client Services Leadership Team

At Newport Group, our team of exceptional, dedicated, knowledgeable specialists is what sets us apart. Rebecca DiCeglie, Marc Farbman and Karla Pedretti lead the Qualified Retirement Clients Services teams in their respective regions. Each is responsible for delivering high-quality compliance oversight and customer service to plan sponsors, plan participants and advisors. Here’s more about Rebecca, Marc and Karla.

Vice President, Client Services

Rebecca leads the company’s west coast Client Service organization. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Newport Group, she served as Senior Manager of Pension Operations with CKS Employee Benefit Systems, Inc., where she managed all aspects of the company's TPA services, including plan design, implementation and administration for general defined contribution plans, cross-tested profit sharing plans, safe harbor plans and defined benefit plans. 

Rebecca earned her degree in accounting. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and she holds a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation.

Vice President, Client Services

Marc leads the company’s east coast Qualified Client Service organization. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the retirement industry. He began his career with Dreyfus Mutual Funds working in qualified retirement plan administration. He also served as a manager of client services at Wachovia Bank where he oversaw the daily recordkeeping operation.

Marc earned his bachelor’s degree in institutional management from Johnson and Wales University.

Vice President, Client Services

Karla leads the company’s central region Qualified Client Services organization. With 30 years of experience at Newport Group, Karla has proven success as a results-oriented leader. In addition to Client Services, she also has led Newport Group’s Operations, Conversions, Defined Benefit and Compliance teams. 

Karla earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. She is also a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
