Kieran Brady

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Kieran Brady leads the firm’s finance team, overseeing all finance-related activities, including corporate finance, treasury, credit, cash management, tax, risk management, financial and managerial accounting, internal controls, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis and regulatory reporting.
Kieran has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having helped companies in the areas of operational management, strategic planning, business development, mergers and acquisition oversight, forecasting, and budget and cash management. He has held leadership roles with a number of well-respected institutions including Barclays Capital.

Prior to joining Newport, Kieran was chief financial officer for Earnest, Inc. (now Navient). In that role, he collaborated with the company’s leadership team on its strategic business plans, directed all accounting, budgeting and finance activities, and oversaw the development of accounting systems, controls and metrics.
Kieran earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
