Andrew E. Oliphant

Andrew Oliphant manages strategic relationships through Newport’s distribution channels, including wire houses, trust and custody partners, and key financial advisor teams. He is also responsible for oversight of our Internal Sales Desk. In Andrew’s previous role as Newport’s Director of Client Services, he managed the firm’s client service team, interfacing directly with plan sponsors and advisors to deliver day-to-day administration services; and handled oversight of Newport’s qualified plan conversion team. Prior to joining Newport, Andrew held positions as a senior consultant for KPMG Consulting, consultant for TrustMark, and actuarial analyst for the Actuarial Consulting Group. Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in both finance and political science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is currently a member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries and earned his Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designations. He also holds FINRA Series 6, 63 and 26 registrations.
